Hilltop Pension is a well-known destination in Predeal, for its quiet atmosphere and beautiful view of the mountains in the area. Located on a high hill, Hilltop offers an impressive panorama of the surroundings, being surrounded by Piatra Mare Mountains to the north, Bucegi to the southwest and Postavaru Massif to the northwest.
Hilltop Pension offers the following facilities: 15 double and twin rooms with balcony, arranged on 3 floors, some with mountain view; outdoor relaxation spaces, such as a terrace and a gazebo with 30 seats, where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air (barbecue, spit roast, wood oven, breakfast area, TV); a play area for children with a slide and swings; a SPA center, equipped with jacuzzi and dry sauna for moments of relaxation.

Predeal attractions
Predeal is the city located at the highest altitude in Romania and is our favorite place when it comes to winter sports. But know that Predeal is not just about skiing and sledding. Predeal is a city located in Brasov county and together with Paraul Rece, Timisul de Jos and Timisul de Sus, make up the Predeal district. It is situated at an altitude of over 1 000 m. Being located in a mountainous area, summer is cool here and winter very cold. That's why the city is of interest to tourists in any season. PREDEAL MONASTERY
Chronologically, the third monastic settlement in the Bucegi area is Metocul from Predeal, founded in 1774 by hieromonk Ioanichie. The hermitage was built at the foot of Clabucetul Taurului mountain, then the property of Biv-vel logofat Crisoscolescu. In 1788, during the Russo-Turkish War, the hermitage was turned into ashes, and then Abbot Ionisie rebuilt both the hermitage and the cells, financially supported by Ioan Buzatu from Baciul-Sacelelor. The construction is made of wood, at only 30 years old it is restored in stone, having as founder Ion Manole in 1819.
The bulding of the stone church in 1819 was done – as the inscription proves – through the donations of several Christians. It is built in the shape of a cross, made of Caraiman stone, with a length and width of 5.10 m and a single entrance door, on the western side. The porch is entered through an opening without a door, having on either side two openings, whose side walls are semicylindrical. Next to them, on the wall, above, are painted Saints Nicholas, Dimitrie and George. In the porch there are also painted the 12 Apostles, having in the center the image of our Lord Jesus Christ. -
TAMINA WATERFALL
Located in the Piatra Mare Mountains at an altitude of 1,100 m, Tamina Waterfall is a series of 5 waterfalls, of which the largest is 10 m high. The waterfall was formed by deepening by more than 50 m of an old drainage line installed on vertical cracks in the limestone mass. When forming this waterfall, a possible collapse of a cave is also considered.
Biodiversity is one of the strengths of this waterfall that shelters numerous species and habitats protected at national and European level. Among the most important habitats here are those of limestone cliffs, gorges, alpine meadows, streams and mountain springs. -
SEVEN STAIRS CANYON
The Seven Stairs Canyon attracts thousands of tourists from all over the country, being located at an altitude of 980 meters, on the Seven Stairs stream, a left tributary of the Sipooaie Valley. The length of the waterfall is 160 m, the level difference is about 58 m. The height of the steps varies between 8 and 35m. Steeped in Jurassic limestone, the Seven Stairs Gorge shows traces of the morphological evolution of the entire Piatra Mare massif.

ICE CAVE - TIMISUL DE JOS
The ice cave is considered to be the most important cave in the Piatra Mare Massif, being located in the Chibei neck mountain area. Developed on a vertical fissure, the cave has an opening of 50 m, facing north. Inside, the temperature is low throughout the year, sometimes there is snow.

Our pension has a spacious terrace and a gazebo in the yard, with a capacity of 30 seats perfect to enjoy a tea or coffee, or to spend time in nature.

In order to offer you a complete and unforgettable relaxaing experience in our pension, we have created the SPA area, where you can enjoy truly comforting moments after a full day, benefiting from dry sauna or jacuzzi sessions. Access is by appointment, to have the space and privacy you need and to be able to choose the desired periods for the jacuzzi or sauna.
